What is Signature Scalp?
Signature Scalp is a non-surgical hair replacement and enhancement- a hair loss solution that is completely customizable from top to bottom. As a semi-permanent hair loss solution, Signature Scalp is a silicone based topper or crown, fully breathable made JUST for you. We create a prosthetic scalp system, with everything that makes you unique in mind.

Tell me about the process
Each Signature Scalp system is made just for you, here's a peek into the process:
1. Consultation and initial cost estimate

2. Your design appointment: We take a cast of your head and customize each and every aspect of the piece. A quote is made, 50% deposit is taken and your system is ordered.

3. We wait for the piece to be hand-crafted, about 16 weeks for most guests. It is shipped back to us from Europe.

4. Once we receive it back, we have a preview appointment to make sure everything is in order and schedule your install.

5. Install day! This takes about 1.5 hours total to detox your scalp, blow dry, install the piece and cut/style to perfection.

6. Visits afterwards are about 1.5 hours, every 3-4 weeks.
How does it work?
Each piece (sometimes referred to as "system") is designed specifically for you. By that, we mean that it is fully tailored to you, and it won't fit anyone else's head.

We first talk about where your areas of concern are, make (easily removable) markings, and eventually take a cast of your head. We design exactly how we plan to have color, density, and texture placements, and exactly where on your head it will sit. This cast is essential to the process and will be sent away for manufacturing overseas.

On your install date, we start with a scalp treatment, and then adhere the system to your head with an FDA approved silicone adhesive. During your 3-4 week wear in-between appointments, it remains secure as you go about your daily life.
FAQ
Can I wash my hair?
Yes! We recommend washing at least once per week to reduce bacteria and dirt buildup on the scalp and system. Each Signature Scalp piece is breathable and washable. When shampooing, you will need to rinse for additional time than normal, but it is easy to do!
Is the hair real?
All pieces are made with high quality, real human hair. The Signature Scalp system is injected with the hair in a natural pattern, and is able to mimic exactly the way it grows on your head, just better.
Does it work for alopecia?
Yes, people with most types of alopecia can use these systems. This includes: frontal fibrosing alopecia (hairline recession), androgenetic alopecia (female or male pattern hair loss), and alopecia areata (patchy hair loss), alopecia totalis (total hair loss). It is not recommended for people with any type of scarring alopecia.
Can you do this for men?
YES. Hair loss can affect anyone and we are more than happy to accept clients of all gender expressions and help restore your confidence.
How natural does it look?
The hairline is customized to your unique hairline, therefore we are able to make your hair loss solution incredibly natural looking. Whether there is hair there or not, it is tailored to you.
Will it damage my hair?
While damage can happen from virtually anything, these methods do not damage your hair at all. As long as home care recommendations are followed, you'll remain damage free! Ways you could experience damage would be from attempting a removal or adjustment of the unit at home.
Is it a topper or a full wig?
Each system is individual to the desires of each guest! The system has an FDA approved silicone base and adhesive, and can range from a small crown topper to a full head solution.
How long are maintenance appointments?
A standard monthly refit appointment will include removal, a scalp treatment, blow dry, and re-install. This appointment is about 90 minutes long.
Does my hair still grow underneath?
Absolutely. Your hair will continue to grow and your hair and scalp underneath remain unaffected. During each follow-up appointment, you'll receive a scalp treatment before refitting the unit.
How long does the system last?
If cared for properly, your Signature Scalp system should last around 12 months. Systems will experience shedding, much like your natural hair, and the silicone base does begin to deteriorate after this point. We recommend ordering your next system at your 7-month follow up appointment.
How often is maintenance?
Aside from your weekly wash & blow dry at home, salon maintenance is every 3-4 weeks. Guests who are very active and sweat alot may be on the shorter end, and clients with less active lifestyles are on the longer end. It is imperative that maintenance be done during this time period.
What if my hair is growing back after chemo?
As long as you are done with active treatment requiring your scalp to be accessed (or are done doing cold capping) we are able to assess whether you're a good candidate. For people with particularly thick hair growing in, this is likely to not be the best solution.
How much does it cost?
Your initial investment depends entirely on how much of the extent of hair loss coverage needed, desired length, textures, and colors. Smaller topper systems can be as low as $5,000 and larger units may range up to $8,500 and more. Monthly maintenance appointments for refit and scalp treatments begin at $800.
Can I wear my hair up while wearing a system?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. This is entirely dependent upon each client's natural hair. However, our systems have a universal part, meaning you can part it anywhere you'd like without issue. The scalp looks realistic across the entire system.
Is this allergy friendly?
We conduct an allergy test for every client to make sure there are no allergies to either the adhesive or silicone base.
Initial investment
Every client will have a different price based on textures, lengths, colors and size, but here are a few estimates that can help you gauge if this is for you. These quotes are general and do not include any color services or treatments to the natural hair that may be needed.
A client with a bob who needs a smaller amount of coverage with a highlighted color will run about $4200
A client with a shoulder length lob, highlights and a medium amount of coverage will run about $5450
A client with long hair, needing full coverage and a dimensional balayage look will run about $7,800
A client with a bob, a solid color, and full coverage will run about $5700
Maintenance costs
Monthly maintenance appointments may vary by services each individual may need, e.g. root touch ups or cutting. Standard maintenance cost includes removal, scalp treatment, blow dry, and refit.
