HOME CARE
Home care for your hair extensions is pretty easy. Clients should use recommended products for shampoo + styling, gently brush their hair twice daily, moisturize the ends of the hair, and keep it in a loose braid at night.

With most wefts, you'll need to always blow dry the base of your extensions.
​
For K-tips, you'll need to separate bonds every couple days to prevent tangling.
SALON MAINTENANCE
For sew in methods, in-salon care is every 6 weeks for finer hair, and possibly up to every 8 weeks for those who take exceptional care with have low shedding. Low density clients will always be on the shorter end of this time frame.

For keratin bonds (k-tips) wear time is 12-14 weeks without any salon maintenance. After that length of time, they are removed and new hair is installed.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHY WEAR WEFTS?
Our sew in method has gentle attachment points. In addition, we keep the hair in the direction that it grows, significantly reducing any risk for breakage. Combined with more volume and fullness per row, this method works well for many!

WHY GET K-TIPS?
For Ktip extensions, they were initially designed to help cancer patients with their hair growing back in. This means its safe for everyone and is incredibly discreet! We love the 360 degree movement of these extensions for people who love wearing their hair up, too.
I LIKE MY LENGTH. CAN I GET EXTENSIONS JUST FOR VOLUME?
Yes! It is common to add extensions just for a little fullness without adding length and this is the easiest to maintain!
HOW SOON CAN I GET MY HAIR INSTALLED AFTER A CONSULTATION?
That depends entirely upon both of our schedules/availability, and how soon the hair can be delivered. Most appointments are able to be completed within 3 weeks of the initial consultation.
DO YOU HAVE WAVY AND CURLY HAIR EXTENSIONS?
Yes! We love to give the perfect blend and find the best texture match for your hair. Over half of our extension clients wear wavy or curly extensions! Curly extensions are a more of a premium material to source, so it does come with a higher cost.
WHAT METHOD DO YOU DO?
The magic isn't in the method- its in the level of care we have for our clients. While we know many different approaches and have taken many classes, what we have learned is that no specific brand method is perfect for every client. It is our duty and responsibility to create the perfect install made just for you. Not being married to a specific method is to your benefit - so leave the worrying about the approach to us!
I'M ACTIVELY LOSING HAIR, CAN I STILL GET EXTENSIONS?
We generally don't recommend to get extensions while still actively losing an excess of hair, such as: chemo treatment or active shedding with some types of alopecia. For post partum guests, we recommend k-tips so that we can accurately distribute your additional hair safely.

If you are experiencing severe hair loss with bald patches, a widened part, or a very recessed hairline, we recommend our nonsurgical hair replacement.
WHAT BRAND HAIR DO YOU USE?
We source hair from all over the world to get the perfect color and texture match for you. It isn't about the brand -and truthfully we don't work with many "brands". We ethically source, from over 15 different suppliers on a regular basis to get a high quality product to you. We work very hard to provide you with the best-- so just know that you are never getting a cheap product, one that has always been tested by one of our employees, friends, or the owner personally.
HOW LONG DOES THE HAIR LAST?
Weft extension hair lasts for 8-10 months with proper care.

With Keratin tips, hair is single-use only and is replaced every time we install. This means your extensions are always fresh and you can switch up the vibe frequently if you wish.
DO I HAVE TO STYLE MY HAIR?
Some people will, some people won't. If you have wefts, you will always need to blow dry the base of your hair extensions. Depending on your starting style + how much length you add, you may need more styling to blend (this is always discussed in your consultation!). The good thing is, extension hair generally holds a curl exceptionally well and lasts longer! This means you don't usually have to wash/style as frequently.

With k-tips, most clients are able to air dry, but are welcome to style as much as they want!
I WANT SUPER LONG HAIR, DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING OVER 24"?
We can source hair up to ~30" long! The longer the length, the more difficult to source and it takes longer to receive. Hair lengths longer than 24" generally takes 4+ weeks to get in-hand.
CAN I BRING MY OWN HAIR?
Usually, no. We can only guarantee the quality and install of hair we order through our own distributors. The exceptions to the rule are few: a hairstylist bringing in their preferred brand or reinstalling your old wefts (if deemed still usable).
CAN I COME IN ON THE WEEKEND?
We are open Wednesday through Friday. We highly encourage you to prebook your next 1-2 appointments ahead so that you can stay on schedule and get your preferred times/days.

these "quotes" are for average initial installs, and include the cost of straight hair. (curly textured extensions have a higher cost)
