Luxury Extensions provide an ideal way to enhance the length and volume of your hair. We offer various methods, including a braid-free, adhesive-free sewn-in technique, a hidden bead method, and options using hand-tied, genius weft, or machine-sewn extensions. Additionally, our private Sunnyvale salon features individual keratin bonds, also known as K-tip extensions. With the right care, your natural hair remains undamaged, and many clients can even grow their hair while wearing extensions. First-time installations typically take under two hours, allowing you to quickly return to your busy life.

HOME CARE
Home care for your Luxury Extensions is easy. Clients should use recommended products for shampoo + styling, gently brush their hair twice daily, moisturize the ends of the hair, and keep it in a loose braid at night.
SALON MAINTENANCE
For sew in methods, in-salon care is every 5-6 weeks for finer hair, and possibly up to every 8 weeks for those who take exceptional care.

For keratin bonds, or k-tips, wear time is 12-14 weeks without any salon maintenance. After that length of time, they are removed and new hair is installed.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHY THESE TYPES OF EXTENSIONS?
Our sew in method has gentle attachment points. In addition, we keep the hair in the direction that it grows, significantly reducing any risk for breakage. Combined with more volume and fullness per row, this method works well for many!

For Ktip extensions, they were initially designed to help cancer patients with their hair growing back in. This means its safe for everyone and is incredibly discreet! We love the 360 degree movement of these extensions for people who love wearing their hair up, too.
DO YOU HAVE CURLY HAIR?
Yes! We love to give the perfect blend and find the best texture match for your hair. Curls and waves can be harder to source, therefore often a bit pricier.
I LIKE MY LENGTH. CAN I GET EXTENSIONS JUST FOR VOLUME?
Yes! It is common to add extensions just for a little fullness without adding length and this is the easiest to maintain!
I WANT SUPER LONG HAIR, DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING OVER 24"?
HOW DO YOU WASH IT?
Easily! You shampoo just like your natural hair, just a little more gently! After your first wash or two, you get used to it. If you don't feel like washing all of it, you can also do what is called a "top wash" and shampoo your natural hair on top of the extensions in your sink! A great time saver for when you're feeling a little rushed.
We can source hair up to ~30" long! The longer the length, the more difficult to source and it takes longer to receive. With these lengths, we often have our source manufacture custom units for you, which takes longer than ready-to-wear hair.
HOW SOON CAN I GET MY HAIR INSTALLED AFTER A CONSULTATION?
DO I HAVE TO STYLE MY HAIR?
Yes and no. Some people will, some people won't. If you have wefts, you will always need to blow dry the base of your hair extensions, regardless of method. Depending on your starting style + how much length you add, you may need more styling to blend. The good thing is, extension hair generally holds a curl exceptionally well and lasts longer! This means you don't usually have to wash/style as frequently.
HOW LONG DOES THE HAIR LAST?
With proper care, weft extension hair lasts for 8-10 months. Any leftover hair from your install is yours, and can be used for future installs.

With Keratin tips, hair is single use only and is replaced every time we install. This means your extensions are always fresh and you can switch up the vibe frequently if you wish.
That depends entirely upon both of our schedules/availability, and how soon the hair can be delivered. Most appointments are able to be completed within 3 weeks of the initial consultation.
CAN I BRING MY OWN HAIR TO INSTALL?
I'M ACTIVELY LOSING HAIR, CAN I STILL GET EXTENSIONS?
Usually, no. We can only guarantee the quality and install of hair we order through our own distributors. The exceptions to the rule are few: a hairstylist bringing in their preferred brand or reinstalling your old hair when you make a deposit for new hair through our salon.
We generally don't recommend to get extensions while still actively losing an excess of hair, such as: chemo treatment or active shedding with alopecia or post partum hair loss. This is to help ensure you don't end up with uneven tension on the remaining hair as others shed.
WHAT BRAND METHOD DO YOU DO?
The magic isn't in the method- its in the level of care we have for our clients. While we know many different approaches and have taken many classes, what we have learned is that no specific brand method is perfect for every client. It is our duty and responsibility to create the perfect install made just for you. Not being married to a specific method is to your benefit - so leave the worrying about the approach to us!
WHAT BRAND HAIR DO YOU USE?
We source hair from all over to get the perfect color and texture match for you. It isn't about the brand, and thankfully we work with about 10 different suppliers on a regular basis to get a quality product to you. We work very hard to provide you with the best-- so just know that you are never getting a cheap product, one that has always been tested by one of our employees personally. Things you may have heard to look out for: remy, cuticle aligned, virgin,... we have all that. Don't worry, we got you.
