Luxury Extensions- what are they? Luxury hair extensions are the extra boost of confidence you need. Whether you'd like to add length or just a little more fullness, we got your back- and your front! With proper home care and skilled installation, there's no damage caused to your natural hair. Most clients are even able to grow out their natural hair while wearing Luxury Extensions.
We offer a few different methods: The most popular is a braid-free, adhesive-free sewn in method. We also offer a hidden bead method for sewn-in extensions and offer hand tied extensions. Last, but not least, individual keratin bonds, also known as k-tips! These individual extensions are extremely discreet and are worn for a few months without any salon maintenance.
We know you have a busy life to get back to- rest assured you won't be in the salon all day. Most first time installations take under two hours out the door.

HOME CARE
Home care for your Luxury Extensions is easy. Clients should use recommended products for shampoo + styling, gently brush their hair twice daily, moisturize the ends of the hair, and keep it in a loose braid at night.
MAINTENANCE
For sew in methods, in-salon care is every 5-6 weeks for finer hair, and possibly up to every 8 weeks for those who take exceptional care.

For keratin bonds, or k-tips, wear time is 3-4 months without any salon maintenance. After that length of time, they are removed and new hair is installed.

WHY THESE METHODS?
WHY ARE EXTENSIONS SO EXPENSIVE?
Our sew in method has gentle attachment points. In addition, we keep the hair in the direction that it grows, significantly reducing any risk for breakage. Combined with more volume and fullness per row, this method works well for many!

For Ktip extensions, they were initially designed to help cancer patients with their hair growing back in. This means its safe for everyone and is incredibly discreet! We love the 360 degree movement of these extensions for people who love wearing their hair up, too.
Extensions are a luxury investment in yourself. It takes years to grow and the perfect set of hair-specific genes to get a long, thick, head of hair. Additionally, it takes years of training to specialize in these techniques that are forever training. We stay up-to-date learning advanced techniques to help create the best foundation for our guests to thrive upon.
DO YOU HAVE CURLY HAIR?
Curly and wavy hair can be more difficult to source at times, but YES! We do have curly hair and can sometimes add a permanent wave to extensions where possible. Texture queens are welcome here!
HOW DO YOU WASH IT?
Easily! You shampoo just like your natural hair, just a little more gently! After your first wash or two, you get used to it. If you don't feel like washing all of it, you can also do what is called a "top wash" and shampoo your natural hair on top of the extensions in your sink! A great time saver for when you're feeling a little rushed.
CAN EXTENSIONS HELP FIX A BAD HAIRCUT?
Often they can! The shorter your natural hair, and the more inches you add, the more work it is to style on a daily basis. This is an important conversation to have with your stylist and be honest about your abilities to maintain at home.
DO I HAVE TO STYLE MY HAIR?
Yes and no. You will always need to blow dry the base of your hair extensions, regardless of method. Depending on your starting style + how much length you add, you may need to curl your hair to help it blend. The good thing is, extension hair generally holds a curl exceptionally well and lasts longer! This means you don't usually have to style as frequently.
CAN I SLEEP WITH EXTENSIONS IN?
Absolutely. Just make sure to secure your hair with a silk scrunchie in a loose bun or braid, and never sleep with wet hair.
CAN I GET EXTENSIONS JUST FOR FULLNESS?
Yes! It is common to add extensions just for a little fullness without adding length and this is the easiest to maintain!
HOW LONG DOES THE HAIR LAST?
With proper care, extension hair lasts for 8-10 months. Any leftover hair from your install is yours, and can be used for future installs.
CAN YOU CUSTOM COLOR MY EXTENSIONS?
Often, yes! It is preferable to get hair that matches well before coloring and to use color as an enhancement tool.
CAN I BRING MY OWN HAIR TO INSTALL?
I'M ACTIVELY LOSING HAIR, CAN I STILL GET EXTENSIONS?
Usually, no. We can only guarantee the quality and install of hair we order through our own distributor. The exceptions to the rule are few: a hairstylist bringing in their preferred brand or installing your old hair when you make a deposit for new hair through our salon.
We generally don't recommend to get extensions while still actively losing an excess of hair, such as: chemo treatment or active shedding with alopecia or post partum hair loss. This is to help ensure you don't end up with uneven tension on the remaining hair as others shed.
